2012 Groundhog Social

Eat, dance, and drink at the 2012 Groundhog Social!

It's that time again! Join us this year at PhilaMOCA for our annual party—Members, non-members, design lovers, and groundhog fans are all welcome! The Groundhog Social is an opportunity to party with other local creatives while learning more about AIGA Philly and what we have in store for 2012.

It's easy. Come out and shake your tail, grab a drink, and meet someone new. The 2012 Groundhog Social features an Open Bar all night, catering by Spice Caterers, and DJ HolySue of the infamous Trestle Inn ready to make you drop more than your feet on the dance floor. And, you guessed it, a return appearance by the groundhog!

PhilaMOCA (DJ Diplo's joint) is a former mausoleum showroom turned thriving art gallery. What better place to throw a party?

This event is open to the public. Ticket price includes food, all the beer and wine you can drink, dancing, and Groundhog mingling. Tickets will also be available at the door for an extra charge.

AIGA Philadelphia

In 1981, a group of Philadelphia designers formed AIGA Philadelphia, the first local chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts. Presently the chapter is comprised of over 600 members. AIGA Philadelphia’s purpose is both integral and complementary to the national organization: to provide the highest standards within the profession and the business community and to stimulate interest and understanding of graphic design and visual communication through lectures, exhibitions, periodicals and other activities.
